The radioplay is very relaxing as well as entertaining. I'm thinking that this radioplay will have a heart pounding action as the Lt. infiltrates the German territories. What I can't understand is how the Sgt. blew up the train? Can someone clarify this to me? Thanks in advance.  Smiley

The Maquisards blew up the train Smiley they were the blokes running away at the end. There is a final scene where all of that was explained.

Episode 2 is now released as well:

Remember this is a miniseries so there will only be 3-6 episodes.

It is understandable if this radioplay has only few episodes. I assume that it will finish when the Lt. will be relocated or return back to the US.

The voice actors that do the French characters are really good. Do they have a lesson in French accent before they act the characters?

They didn't take lessons, but are having fun with it. A lot of them are British so I guess living near France helps!

I think you'll like the ending on miniseries, and yes the LT gets sent home.

I'm enjoying it-it's still playing now. But I'm a bit curious about the SAS sgt. Why is it that he sounds like one of the Beatles spent too long living in Belfast? Its a very strange accent, a cross between the two. The French are good though, good accents.

The accent is really terrific but to be honest, sometimes I cannot understand what they are saying that I need to rewind it in order for me to really understand what they are saying.

It seems like this miniseries doesn't have a linear story. I think each episode has it's own story and doesn't really depend on the previous one. This is good, I guess, because people won't go back to the first episode to understand what is happening.

Self containment like that can be very useful. The accents perhaps were easier for British and hence having heard the French and German accent and also studied both at school. Very authentic, to this tourist's ear at least. I don't know how the natives would have thought of it.

I also have a hard time understanding all the words.  The accent is a bit much.  It really takes away from the storyline for me.  I have only listened to episode 1.  I'll listen to #2 soon.  I'm guessing it is the same people.

Each episode is its own adventure, but there is a bit of a storyline as you'll see in the final episode. They can be listened to out of order quite easily, however.

Presumably though, you would have to maintain the most basic of order through the series-that being listening to the first episode first and the final episode last? I mean, the mix up in the middle would be fine but isn't there a conclusion to the series at the end?

I haven't heard three yet but I did hear 2 before 1 (since I mixed number 2).  I had no problems at all, each stood on it's own.  The only thing really missed by listening out of order for those two was knowing that the American was new and introduced in Episode 1.

If you watched the last one (6) it does have a definite ending, so you're right if someone heard that first it might be slightly confusing. The rest are one offs, however. Michael is also correct in that two of the characters are introduced in episode 1.

Is the third episode finished already? If so, when would it be posted? I'm quite interested on what will happen to the traitor of the story. I'm wondering if he will still be a traitor until the end.
