This was very enjoyable.  I don't know if it is based on an actual graphic novel but it feels like that sort of serial play.
I particularly enjoyed the exchange about the Seraphim, and god not being overly concerned about the fate of humans.  I had to chuckle at the comment about the fundamentalists having god all wrong too!

I guess I should go back and listen to the other episodes.  I really liked this one.

I love this series. It's probably my second favorite Darker Projects series after The Falcon Banner.

Have you ever seen the movie "Dogma"?  There are a few things in this radio play that remind me of some of the events in that movie.  It isn't a word for word or directly concept for concept, but it gave me the same feeling that the explanations of angels and their functions.

I thought that episodes 1-2  of this series were absolutely phenomenal, and 3-4 were pretty great,
too. The acting & production quality are fantastic, and the whole concept of the storyline and
background is extremely well thought out and portrayed. I found it thought-provoking, exciting and fun.
Episode 5 I wasn't so keen on - the plot felt a little weaker - but still the standard was still high, so
it probably suffers more from being judged against itself  Smiley
Episode 6 is part of an arc (of at least 3 episodes I presume? It hasn't been resolved yet in episode 7
which has just come out), and this episode has Byron up against things which he's genuinely worried
about, and which seem to be able to threaten him properly.
I don't know how long it'll be possible to continue to keep it fresh and exciting, but so far so good!
It all is very entertaining indeed, with a lot of action, mythology and nice character interaction.
I'd recommend it to anyone into things like Doctor Who or Buffy, with an interest in old beliefs
or general fantasy sci-fi.
